We encourage, invite, cajole, dare and
"double dog dare" all local organizations and
businesses to participate in the Festival parade. Have fun creating a
float with your co-workers, neighbors and family.

The Reisterstown Festival, a program under the Reisterstown Parks
& Recreation Council, is proud to
once again hold our annual parade. This year marks our 24th parade with the date being
September 11, 2010 starting at 9:00am. If you have not already done so please apply for participation
now using our instant online application.
The parade is the lead-off event of our two-day festival and we appreciate your participation.
The parade will form between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning. The parade begins at the
Franklin Middle School and will begin at 9:00 a.m. sharp. There are several line-up locations for the
parade and you will be notified of your line-up number and location in August. This information will be
posted online.
Trophies / Awards will be given for the following:
- High School Bands: 1st Place - 2nd Place - 3rd Place
- Color Guard: 1st Place - 2nd Place - 3rd Place
- Fire Companies: 1st Place - 2nd Place - 3rd Place
- Floats: 1st Place - 2nd Place - 3rd Place
- Vintage Vehicles: 1st Place - 2nd Place - 3rd
- Place
There will also be 8 Judge’s Awards given at their discretion.
High School Marching Bands Only:
- 1st place is awarded $500
- 2nd place is awarded $400
- 3rd place is
awarded $300
- Other participating High School Marching Bands are awarded $200 for participation.
*All awards will be presented one hour (or so) after the parade completion on the main stage.
